Abstract

The article is concerned with the activity of V. Sukhomlynskyi State Scientific and Pedagogical Library of Ukraine as a main coordinating scientific and methodological centre which belongs to the network of educational libraries subordinated to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine. The author highlights scientific and methodological support for school libraries in Ukraine, analyzes its influence on the optimization of their work.
