Abstract
The article deals with the role of adult education as a key condition for the development of modern personality and universally considered its feasibility due to the necessity of lifelong learning; The peculiarities of educational models - pedagogical and andragogical; outlines the role of learning in all subjects and models characterized most important differences models for twelve positions (the role of experience, willingness to learn, self-awareness, application of acquired knowledge, learning orientation, psychological climate, planning, identification of training needs; forliulyuvannya objectives, design learning process, learning activities, assessment of learning outcomes).
