Abstract
The phenomenon «family life values» is clarified in the article. Family life values are philosophical ideas and moral instructions based on the traditional understanding of family institution, relations between family members, marriage and family responsible behavior, which provide cultural and demographic reproduction of Ukrainian society. The features of family life values as personal characteristics of the person are social by nature, but individual in patterns of mastery and expression; they are behavior regulators, covering all aspects of human existence. Family life values maturity is the foundation of the boarding school senior students’ readiness to family life and conscious parenting, their integration into the modern society. Due to the nature and structure of the phenomenon «family life values», the peculiarities of young adolescents and specificity of boarding school student contingent, the criteria and indicators of comprehensive boarding school senior students’ family life values maturity are defined. The methodical support of the boarding school senior students’ family life values formation process is presented: the program «Family Values» for 8-9 grades students (70 hours), the purpose of which is to prepare boarding school senior students for their future family life on the basis of Ukrainian traditional values, family traditions and customs, positive marital and parent-child relationships.
