Abstract

The textbook is prepared in correspondence with the State standard of education as well as the academic program in History. Various factual material that covers the human life in ancient times was generalized taking into consideration the modern achievements of history, antropology, and archaeology. This textbook will help the pupils to comprehend the issues that cover the distant past, teach them to work creatively, to make their own attitude for the certain historical events. The methodological apparatus of the textbook is constructed taking into account the requirements for the problematic teaching and the research approach in correspondence with the age peculiarities of the pupils of the 6th grade which will give an opportunity for the teacher to differentiate work with pupils; besides it foresees their independent work. This textbook is experimental.
