Abstract
The article deals with the psychological and pedagogical principles of introducing the ideas of constructivism in the educational process. The relationship of personality’s individual intellectual development with her mental experience, influence patterns of teachers thinking on the education quality and the directions of their change are shown. Reflective thinking is defined as an essential condition for constructive improvement of teacher’s professional activity.
