Abstract
The article reveals the unity of school and family in the military-patriotic education of senior teenagers in the training process of Horting. For this purpose, the military-patriotic education in secondary schools is analyzed, and the common activities of school and family in the military-patriotic education of 7-9 grades students in the training process of Horting are revealed. The article shows that the correct application of the content, forms and methods of this research influences military-patriotic education of youth. An example of successful training of young people to defend the Motherland may be found in the families of veterans, war children, older people, outstanding athletes, which we examined because they are real carriers of fighting and sporting traditions of our people. In such families, children acquire features of defenders of the Motherland, enriching their moral and vital experience. During the military-patriotic activities, senior teenagers have the possibility to increase their self-awareness and responsibility for their actions, their desire to get closer to the ideal is formed.
