Abstract
The author considers the problems of the formation of professional competence and the professional culture as one of its components. The article analyzes the role of social and humanitarian training of future specialists in the system of formation of general and professional culture. The paper reflects the conditions of integrated preparedness of future expert to the professional activity, in particular the formation of the integrity of basic professional training; integration of general technical and socio-humanitarian component in the content of basic professional training. Culturological component of vocational education in the process of formation of the professional culture of vocational schools’ students is considered as integral system of the process of assimilation and translation of humanistic principles of professional-cultural, social and humanitarian thinking of the future specialists of manufacturing and service sectors. The process of formation of the professional culture of a personality is regarded as a value-oriented approach to the creative life of the future specialists, their morality, spirituality, responsible attitude to their work; development of figurative thinking; aesthetic relation to reality; inclusion of an individuality in a professional creative activity.
