Abstract

This handbook provides a systematic overview of current practices regarding the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in European secondary education institutions. It presents key national and international regulatory and advisory documents concerning the use of AI. The handbook is structured to offer a sequential description of the theoretical and methodological foundations of teachers' digital competence in the context of AI, the tools available for the educational process, and relevant international regulatory documents. It also highlights the experiences of teachers in European countries regarding the use of AI.
