Abstract

The article is dedicated to analyzing digital tools designed to create and support the functioning of information educational environments. The digital tools most commonly used in global and domestic educational institutions are considered. It is noted that their use is a prerequisite for the operation of the modern information and educational environment, ensuring its openness, dynamism and interactivity. The authors present and describe key digital tools, resources and technologies used in contemporary foreign educational institutions and highlight a number of digital transformation tools, whose application is influenced by the specific conditions in our country. It is found that the main feature of modern digital tools is not merely to provide information (or access to it) for users, both the student and the teacher. It is emphasized that digital tools can analyze, process, and create new information, contributing to a rapid increase in their popularity, especially those based on the use of artificial intelligence. The purpose of the study is to test the interim results of the research ‘Information and Analytical Support for the Digital Transformation of Education and Pedagogy: Domestic and Foreign Experience’ to achieve the objectives of its analytical and synthetic stage. The conclusion is drawn that the using digital tools and Internet resources for implementing information and analytical support in education and pedagogy serves as a powerful means of supporting the functioning and development of information and educational environments in educational institutions and research institutions, which, if applied effectively, can significantly enhance the quality of educational and research processes.
