Abstract

The abstract examines the innovative potential of digital library resources as an infrastructural and didactic factor in developing educators' information culture within the context of digital educational transformation. The study identifies key dimensions of the digital library's innovative impact: transforming the information-seeking behavior model, developing critical and analytical thinking, verifying sources within a "trust environment," turning digital resources into didactic tools for designing learning experiences, fostering academic integrity and ethical data use (including the responsible application of generative AI), and supporting continuous professional development aligned with DigCompEdu. The paper substantiates the pedagogical and organizational conditions necessary for actualizing this potential, facilitating the educator's transition from a passive consumer of information to an active curator and author of high-quality educational content.
