Abstract

The theses highlight the historical development of psychological and pedagogical support for children with hearing impairments, which is characterized by a transition from isolation to integration, from unification to individualization and increased interdisciplinary interaction. The effectiveness of support is revealed, which is determined by taking into account the individual characteristics of the child and his social context. It is shown how the accumulated experience has become the basis of modern approaches and is important for further improvement of the system of special and inclusive education.
