Abstract

The paper examines the theoretical foundations of information and knowledge management in the digital society. It analyzes the impact of digital transformation, information and communication technologies, and the knowledge economy on the management of information resources and intellectual capital. Particular attention is given to the implementation of information and knowledge management in the educational and library and information sectors, including the development of digital libraries, institutional repositories, open science, learning management systems, and digital educational platforms. The study concludes that effective information and knowledge management is a key factor in digital transformation, innovation, and improving the performance of educational institutions and library and information organizations.
