Abstract

The article highlights the combination of high moral qualities of the head of the Institute of Pedagogy, Mykola Dmytrovych Yarmachenko, as well as his dedication to education and science. It is proven that in his research work, the scientist paid considerable attention to a wide range of multifaceted problems of education and socialization of people with hearing impairments, methodology, theory and history of pedagogy, and historical aspects of the formation and development of pedagogy.
