Abstract

These methodological guidelines reveal the methodological foundations and define the leading principles of fostering civic engagement among senior high school students in the digital space. The main factors and challenges in shaping an active civic stance among senior high school students in the digital space are explored; foreign experience in utilizing the digital environment for the civic education of youth is analyzed. Practical recommendations for using digital platforms, examples of interactive tasks and projects, as well as criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of the proposed methods, are provided. The methodological guidelines can be used by teachers, students, and postgraduate students in their work with youth, as well as part of comprehensive studies on the digital transformation of education and the development of civil society. These methodological guidelines were prepared based on the findings of the scientific study “Developing an active civic position of high school students in the digital space” funded by a grant from the President of Ukraine awarded by the National Research Foundation of Ukraine.
