Abstract

The paper examines uncertainty as a current psychological challenge for lower secondary school students under martial law. The main scientific approaches to understanding the phenomenon of uncertainty and its impact on adolescents’ emotional and psychological well-being, cognitive development, and social adaptation are analyzed. The main psychological difficulties caused by war, forced displacement, and the loss of a sense of security are identified. The importance of developing psychological resilience, fostering skills for adapting to uncertainty, and improving the psychosocial support system for students is substantiated.
