Abstract

The paper examines partnership as an important factor in implementing innovations in the training of future Doctors of Philosophy (PhD) in Education Sciences. Educational documentation, the content of compulsory and elective educational components, and the results of a survey of the academic community concerning the renewal of PhD training content were analyzed. The study substantiates the need for innovative scientific and methodological support focused on digitalization, Open Science, academic integrity, the use of artificial intelligence, research culture, and resilience in wartime conditions. The experience of interinstitutional cooperation between the Ivan Ziaziun Institute of Pedagogical Education and Adult Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine and higher education institutions is highlighted as a means of updating the content and organizational forms of third-level education. Particular attention is paid to transforming the role of PhD programme teachers towards mentoring, facilitating independent research, and promoting partnership-based communication. The integration of theoretical, practical, and digital components of scientific and methodological support is identified as a promising approach to enhancing the quality of future PhD training and fostering competitive researchers capable of effective participation in the international academic community.
