Abstract
War, as a chronic psychotraumatic factor, creates a specific context for child development characterized by a combination of threat, uncertainty, and disruption of the basic sense of safety. This is particularly significant for primary school children, as during this period self-awareness is intensively developing, with self-esteem as its central component.
