Abstract
The "Regulation on the Syllabus of an Educational Component at the Bila Tserkva Institute of Continuing Professional Education" is an integral part of the internal education quality assurance system; it defines the requirements regarding the purpose, structure, content, development, review, approval, publication, and annual updating of syllabi for educational components (academic disciplines). This Regulation was developed to ensure transparency and accessibility of information regarding the educational process; to implement the principles of student-centered learning, the competency-based approach, and academic integrity; and to create conditions for shaping the individual educational trajectories of students pursuing the second (master’s) level of higher education and participants in professional development programs. The Regulation establishes uniform requirements for the content and formatting of syllabi for mandatory and elective educational components. It defines the principles for organizing educational activities within an educational component—specifically regarding the use of artificial intelligence technologies, class attendance, adherence to assignment deadlines, recognition of non-formal and informal learning outcomes, and academic mobility—and outlines approaches to assessing learning outcomes and their alignment with program learning outcomes. The Regulation is intended for academic staff, educational program guarantors, members of project and working groups, heads of departments, staff of the academic organization department, and higher education students.
