Abstract

This study explores the integration of artificial intelligence technologies into the systems of Ukraine’s digital economy, taking into account186 strategic guidelines, sectoral practices, and the main barriers to implementation. A general overview of the current state of digital transformation in the country is provided, with a focus on key sectors where AI is applied most actively. The study systematizes the key challenges that hinder the effective adoption of intelligent solutions, including regulatory, institutional, financial, and human capital-related factors. Based on a literature review and empirical data, the paper substantiates promising directions for the development of the national digital economy using artificial intelligence. Conclusions are drawn regarding the need to build a coherent innovation ecosystem, develop open data policies, and enhance cooperation between the state, business, and the scientific community.
