Abstract

The article presents the author-developed method Sand Reconstruction of the World as a group art-based practice for developing children’s social and emotional culture in wartime. Its main stages and psychological mechanisms are described, including sensory regulation, symbolic expression of experience, emotional awareness, self-regulation, empathy, and mutual support. The method’s potential for psychosocial support of children, parents, and communities is outlined.
