Abstract

The article examines the essence and structural characteristics of the scientific thinking of gifted individuals in the context of the humanitarian ideas of V. I. Vernadsky. Scientific thinking is substantiated as a multidimensional integrative ability that combines logical, critical, reflective, creative, and integrative modes of thinking and enables the effective solution of complex cognitive tasks. The purpose of the study is to analyze the characteristics of the scientific thinking of gifted students through the lens of V. I. Vernadsky's noosphere concept, which synthesizes science, culture, and spirituality. The structure of scientific thinking is described as comprising informational-cognitive, cognitive-operational, reflective-evaluative, intentional-axiological, and innovative-creative levels. Particular attention is paid to the role of a specially organized educational environment, inquiry-based learning, interdisciplinary approaches, project-based learning, problem-oriented instruction, and scientific dialogue in fostering the scientific thinking of gifted students. It is demonstrated that Vernadsky's humanitarian ideas contribute to the formation of a noospheric worldview that integrates scientific cognition with ethical responsibility, cultural values, and awareness of the social significance of scientific activity. It is concluded that the development of scientific thinking is a fundamental prerequisite for fostering intellectual autonomy, research culture, creative self-realization, and the readiness of gifted individuals to apply knowledge responsibly in contemporary society.
