Abstract

The programme is aimed at updating and enhancing the professional competencies of preschool education institution directors required for effective management, ensuring the quality of preschool education, implementing contemporary approaches to the organisation of the educational process, and developing the capacity to work effectively in conditions of change and external challenges, particularly those associated with wartime circumstances. The content of the programme is structured according to a modular approach and encompasses theoretical, practical, and analytical components of the professional activities of preschool education institution directors. The modules include educational content designed to develop managerial, organisational, psychological, strategic, communication, and leadership competencies that correspond to the requirements of the Professional Standard for Education Institution Directors and to contemporary trends in the development of preschool education. Particular attention is given to maintaining the psychological well-being of individuals holding the position of preschool education institution director, preventing professional burnout, fostering resilience, and ensuring effective team management under conditions of uncertainty and increased complexity caused by the overlap of wartime challenges and ongoing educational reforms in Ukraine.
