Abstract
Today, the digitalization of education is characterized by the active introduction of artificial intelligence technologies into the professional activities of teachers. AI tools are used by teachers to prepare educational materials, create test tasks, automate routine processes, personalize learning and support communication with students. This problem becomes particularly relevant against the background of the rapid development of generative AI and the need for education systems to adapt to new digital technologies. European countries demonstrate different approaches to the integration of artificial intelligence into education: from the active systematic implementation of AI technologies into public policy to a more cautious model focused on regulatory and ethical regulation, protection of personal data and the formation of AI literacy of teachers. In this context, it is important to study the experience of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Finland, as well as analyze the current state of use of AI by Ukrainian teachers. The purpose of the study is to conduct a comparative analysis of the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the professional activities of teachers in the indicated countries, as well as to identify the main trends and prospects for the development of this area.
