Abstract
The chapter examines positive developments in vocational education within the context of the digital economy and information society. Theoretical foundations of vocational education transformation under the influence of digitalization, Education 4.0, Industry 4.0, and the Triple Helix and Quadruple Helix models are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the integration of digital competencies into workforce training, modernization of educational programs, development of flexible learning pathways, and implementation of innovative educational technologies. Based on a quantitative analysis of survey results obtained from 378 students and 46 teachers, comparative analysis of international practices, and case study research, the main trends of digital transformation in vocational education are identified. The findings demonstrate that the most effective directions include the implementation of digital learning platforms, VR/AR technologies, dual education, micro-credentials, and partnerships with industry. At the same time, challenges related to the digital divide, the need for continuous professional development of teachers, and modernization of educational infrastructure are highlighted. Recommendations are proposed to further strengthen vocational education in accordance with the requirements of the digital economy and the evolving labor market.
