Abstract

The paper highlights the problem of modernizing the professional and practical training of construction industry specialists in the context of Ukraine’s “green” recovery and the transformation of vocational education in accordance with the principles of sustainable development. The importance of professional and practical training as a factor in ensuring the quality of vocational education and preparing competitive specialists for energy-efficient construction is substantiated. The role of competency-based, activity-based and integrative approaches, digitalization of the educational process, the use of BIM technologies, and dual education in the formation of professional competencies of future specialists is revealed. The main challenges of modernizing vocational education in Ukraine and perspective directions for its development in the context of European integration and post-war reconstruction are outlined.
