Abstract

The article examines the possibilities of using generative artificial intelligence as a personal mentoring tool in the STEAM digital educational environment. The role of generative AI technologies in learning personalization, educational content adaptation, and support of individual learning pathways is analyzed. The main functions of an AI tutor are identified, including explaining educational materials, supporting independent and research activities, generating learning tasks, and fostering critical thinking skills. The study substantiates the potential of generative artificial intelligence to enhance project-based learning in STEAM education through information retrieval, data analysis, and idea generation. At the same time, attention is paid to the challenges associated with the implementation of generative AI in education, particularly issues of academic integrity, digital literacy of educational stakeholders, and ethical considerations in technology use. It is concluded that generative artificial intelligence has significant potential to transform modern education by creating a more flexible, adaptive, and personalized learning environment.
