Abstract

The report presents the results of the fundamental research project “Didactic Systems of Specialized Upper Secondary Education” (2024–2025; state registration No. 0124U000447), aimed at substantiating didactic systems of specialized upper secondary education for various types of educational institutions. It provides an analysis of the actual regulatory and legal framework governing the obtaining of specialized upper secondary education in academic lyceums, professional colleges, institutions of professional pre-higher and higher education, as well as specialized and special education institutions. Particular attention is given to the state of specialized upper secondary education in Ukraine under martial law, issues of forming its content, the transformation of forms, methods, and means of teaching, and the didactic potential of various types of educational institutions. The report presents a conceptual model of the didactic system of specialized upper secondary education, which comprises propaedeutic-methodological, regulatory, organizational-institutional, content-profile, procedural-activity, assessment-evaluation and reflexive-prognostic components. Their functional purposes, system-forming interrelations, and contribution to achieving competence-based learning outcomes are specified. The didactic systems of specialized upper secondary education for different types of educational institutions, the didactic conditions for their implementation, mechanisms of scientific and methodological support, and the results of approbation of elements of the developed systems in educational institutions providing specialized upper secondary education are presented, along with the main scientific outputs produced within the research project.
