Abstract
The article provides a theoretical generalization and analysis of modern approaches to understanding mobile learning as a pedagogical phenomenon, evolving from an orientation towards technological solutions to the implementation of a context-oriented approach. It is shown that initial studies of mobile learning focused mainly on the technical characteristics of mobile devices and the possibilities of their use in the educational process, while modern scientific approaches emphasize pedagogical design, cognitive mechanisms of learning and individualization of educational experience. It is substantiated that a context-oriented approach to mobile learning involves taking into account situational, spatiotemporal, social and cognitive factors of the educational activity of education seekers. The didactic potential of mobile technologies in providing learning according to the principle of "at the right time, in the necessary volume and taking into account individual needs" is revealed, which contributes to increasing the flexibility of the educational process, supporting educational autonomy and developing self-regulated learning skills. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of cognitive mechanisms of mobile learning effectiveness, in particular, the optimization of cognitive load, contextualization of knowledge, activation of metacognitive processes and the formation of sustainable learning motivation. It is determined that the integration of mobile learning with other digital and immersive technologies expands the possibilities of personalization and improves the quality of the educational process. The article outlines promising areas of further research related to the development of pedagogical models of mobile learning, improving the methods of its implementation in conditions of blended and open learning, as well as the preparation of pedagogical personnel for the effective use of mobile technologies in professional activities.
