Abstract

In this bibliometric review, the author found that as of June 2026, the “Bibliometrics of Ukrainian Science” system contained bibliometric indicators for 57,870 researchers; the field of “Pedagogy” was represented by 7,334 researchers, 828 of whom were from the National Academy of Educational Sciences (NAES). It was noted that during the first half of 2026, the system’s electronic resource continued to be updated with new bibliometric profiles of researchers, and existing metrics were updated in accordance with changes in international scientometric databases and researchers’ academic profiles. It was noted that in Scopus, the number of profiles of Ukrainian educators is 827, including 127 from the National Academy of Educational Sciences (NAES); in Web of Science, the number of profiles of Ukrainian educators is 602, including 79 from the NAES. It was emphasized that, on the initiative and under the scientific editorship of Academician L.D. Berezivska, a bibliometric audit of pedagogical science has been conducted since 2017 as part of the research activities of the Department of Scientific, Information, and Analytical Support for Education at the V. Sukhomlynsky State Scientific and Educational Library of Ukraine; and in 2026–2028—as part of the applied research project “Scientific and Analytical Support for the Development of a Unified Information Space for Open Education” (scientific supervisor — Ph.D (in Education), Senior Researcher M. L. Rostoka). The subject area of this research direction, aimed at fulfilling the objectives of the aforementioned research project, is a bibliometric audit of pedagogical and psychological sciences in the context of the development of open education in Ukraine.
