Abstract

The study presents a generalised theoretical and methodological basis for the design and use of digital educational resources for the economic and managerial training of future masters in information technology. The essence of the concepts of ‘digital educational resources’, ‘digital educational resources for the economic and managerial training of future masters in the field of information technology’, and ‘competence in the use of digital educational resources for the economic and managerial training of future masters in the field of IT’ is clarified. The results of the study indicate the need for a more systematic introduction of modern digital technologies into the educational process, improving teachers' qualifications in using massive open online cources (MOOCs) and cloud services, and expanding the interdisciplinary application of information and communication technologies (ICT) to enhance the quality of education. Despite growing interest and interdisciplinary nature, the use of digital educational resources requires more systematic and consistent study, the formation of stable research groups and scientific schools, as well as the development of a comprehensive methodological basis for the effective integration of digital technologies into the process of economic and management training of future IT specialists. International experience in training IT specialists indicates the need to move from narrowly technical training to the formation of specialists with comprehensive competencies, capable of working at the intersection of technology, business, and other fields of knowledge. In this regard, Ukrainian higher education institutions should strengthen the economic and business components of IT programmes, expand the range of highly specialised programmes in line with market demand, and develop double-degree and international mobility programmes, etc. The requirements for the core educational content of economic and management training for future IT masters have been summarised and highlighted: pedagogical (professional orientation, interdisciplinarity, problem-oriented approach, practical value, relevance of content), content-related (compliance with educational standards, structured material, multi-level material, availability of practical examples from the IT industry, variety of content formats, relevance of economic data and business cases, professionalism (expert review)), specific to the IT industry (ability to model business processes, ability to model IT project management processes, support or integration with project management systems, integration with version control systems, support for agile development methodologies), technological (integration with professional/educational tools, support for teamwork, cross-platform compatibility, scalability, data security, adaptive design), organisational (flexibility of learning, modularity, interactivity, multimedia, progress monitoring, feedback), user-related (intuitive interface, quick access to the necessary information, personalisation of the learning environment, interface customisation, possibility of offline access to materials, multilingualism, inclusiveness). Analysis of the problem of using digital educational resources (DER) for the economic and managerial training of future IT masters has enabled the development of a classification of DERs for this field. The procedure for selecting digital educational resources for the economic and managerial training of future masters in information technology has been generalised. It consists of the following stages: 1. Analysis and classification. 2. Expert evaluation. 3. Formulation of criteria and indicators. 4. Final selection of DER. The criteria and indicators for the selection of digital educational resources for the economic and managerial training of future masters in the field of IT are as follows: for formalised training courses: didactic and methodological (compliance with educational standards and programmes, coverage of key topics in economic and managerial training, relevance of content, structure of material, diversity and adequacy of forms of presentation of material); academic (position of the developing institution in international rankings, qualifications of teachers, level of recognition of certificates by employers, duration of existence of the resource); technical and organisational (flexibility of learning pace, duration of access to materials, user-friendliness of the interface, analytics and reporting functions, tools for monitoring learning progress, possibilities for integration into the educational institution's information systems); integral (ease and convenience of use, stability of the resource, availability of a free version with sufficient functionality, price/quality ratio, variability to take into account national legislation, availability of feedback from developers), this criterion and its indicators are universal for all groups of digital educational resources for the economic and managerial training of future IT masters; for interactive practical resources: didactic and organisational (progress in skill development, possibility of retaking, differentiation of difficulty levels, support for group work, possibility of competitive mode, communication tools between participants, means of ensuring collective decision-making), adequacy of modelling (correspondence to real business processes, diversity and configurability of economic models, reliability of market conditions, relevance of cases and situations, variability of scenarios of events), integral; for the professional certification group: didactic criterion (availability of accessible official training materials, access to a community/forum, mentoring support, practical seminars/webinars, coverage of economic and management training topics), industrial recognition (recognition of the certificate by domestic companies, recognition of the certificate by international companies, mandatory requirement for the certificate for relevant vacancies), assessment (objectivity of assessment, passing score, number of attempts, certificate validity period), integral; for the group of information and support resources: didactic (clarity of the description of economic mechanisms, data visualisation, learning tips and advice, gamification of learning elements, applicability in real situations, frequency of content updates), financial and economic (integration with real financial services, automation of routine operations, personalisation of recommendations, relevance to current trends, predictive value of analytics), integral. Expert selection of DER showed that among formalised training courses, the highest scores were achieved by the MOOC in SPOC format ‘Fundamentals of Entrepreneurial Finance: What Every Entrepreneur Should Know’, which received maximum scores for all criteria. In the category of interactive practical resources, the leader was the business simulation ‘Economic Games,’ which confirms the importance of gaming methods in the economic education of IT specialists. Among the information and support resources, the author's personal finance simulator produced the best results, emphasising the importance of specialised tools developed with the specific needs of training IT masters in mind. A procedure has been developed for designing digital educational resources for the economic and managerial training of future masters in the field of information technology, which includes such stages as analysis, problem formulation, formulation of development tasks, design of digital educational resources, iterative program development and testing, pilot operation and effectiveness testing, implementation, iterative updating and modification of digital educational resources. A structural and functional model of a personal finance simulator has been developed and substantiated, which contains the following structural elements: a target block, an input data block, a functional block (which will include financial overview, savings management, investment management, and credit management), an analytical block, a consulting block, and a results block. A generalised model of massive open online courses has been developed and substantiated, which includes an organisational block, training modules, an assessment system, a communication block, and technical support. A model for the use of digital educational resources in the economic and managerial training of future masters in information technology has been developed and substantiated, comprising objectives, theoretical training, practical training, professional certification, and results. The presented methodological system for using digital educational resources for the economic and managerial training of future masters in the field of information technology includes the goal and target group, the selection of digital educational resources for the economic and managerial training of future IT masters according to a generalised procedure, improvement of the content of the discipline within which this methodology will be implemented, and development of an elective course. In addition, this methodological system provides, as in the classical version, the goal, content, forms, methods and means. It is concluded that for the implementation of the author's methodological system, it is necessary to comprehensively use digital business simulators in the economic and management training of future masters in the field of information technology, MOOCs in SPOC format in the economic and management training of future masters in the field of information technology, the author's personal finance simulator in the economic and management training of future masters in the field of information technology, as well as certain types of digital educational resources in the economic and management training of future masters in the field of IT. The scientific novelty and theoretical significance of the results obtained lie in the fact that: for the first time: a classification of digital educational resources for economic and management training of IT specialists has been proposed; theoretically substantiated and developed a procedure for designing digital educational resources for the economic and managerial training of future masters in the field of information technology, a structural and functional model of a personal finance simulator, a generalised model of massive open online courses, a model for using digital educational resources for the economic and managerial training of future masters in the field of information technology, a methodological system for using digital educational resources for the economic and managerial training of future masters in the field of information technology, developing criteria and corresponding indicators for the selection of digital educational resources for the economic and managerial training of future masters in the field of information technology, in particular for formalised training courses – didactic and methodological, academic, technical -organisational, integral, for interactive practical resources – didactic-organisational, adequacy of modelling, integral, for professional certification – didactic, industrial recognition, assessment, integral, for information-supporting resources – didactic, financial-economic, integral; developed the main components of methods for using digital business simulators in economic and management training of future masters in the field of information technology, MOOC in SPOC format "Fundamentals of Entrepreneurial Finance: What Every Entrepreneur Should Know" in the economic and management training of future masters in the field of information technology, an author's personal finance simulator in the economic and management training of future masters in the field of information technology, and individual types of digital educational resources in the economic and management training of future masters in the field of IT. generalised the requirements that digital educational resources for the economic and managerial training of future masters in the field of information technology must meet, and the procedure for selecting digital educational resources for the economic and managerial training of future masters in the field of information technology. clarified the concept of ‘digital educational resources’ as electronic information objects created using digital technologies and designed to support and improve educational activities; ‘digital educational resources for the economic and managerial training of future masters in the field of information technology’ as specialised information and educational materials created using digital technologies, designed to develop the economic and managerial competencies of future masters in the IT field; ‘competence in the use of digital educational resources for economic and managerial training of future masters in the field of IT’ as the ability of IT specialists to directly use digital educational resources for economic and managerial training to solve various professional tasks; criteria and corresponding indicators of the formation of competence in the use of digital educational resources for economic and managerial training of future masters in the field of information technology; Further development of the theoretical and methodological foundations for the use of ICT in open education in the direction of using digital educational resources for economic and managerial training. The practical significance of the results obtained lies in the fact that the following have been designed: an author's personal finance simulator; a selection of digital educational resources for economic and management training of future masters in the field of information technology in various areas has been made; implemented in the educational process of higher education institutions the main components of methods for using digital business simulators in economic and management training of future masters in the field of information technology, MOOC in SPOC format "Fundamentals of Entrepreneurial Finance: What Every Entrepreneur Should Know" in the economic and management training of future masters in the field of information technology, an author's personal finance simulator in the economic and management training of future masters in the field of information technology, and individual types of digital educational resources in the economic and management training of future masters in the field of IT.
