Abstract
This paper addresses the issue of psycho-emotional support for preschoolers with special educational needs as a key area of practice for clinical psychologists in preschool settings. It explores the importance of a child’s psychological well-being and resilience as the foundation for their personal development and successful social and educational interactions. The main tasks of psycho-emotional support are described, including helping the child recognize and overcome difficulties, forming a subjective stance, creating conditions for personal growth, designing an individual development trajectory, and monitoring the child’s psychosocial status. The importance of timely prevention and correction of difficulties in the personal development of preschoolers with special educational needs is emphasized.
