Abstract
The results of the study on online disinhibition have established a direct correlation between the level of an educator's professional identity and the constructiveness of their online behavior during the application of distance learning technologies. It was revealed that for the academic community, the disinhibition effect performs compensatory and facilitative functions rather than destructive ones, contributing to effective argumentation under conditions of «extreme» distance learning (restrictions related to quarantine or martial law).
