Abstract
The purpose of this publication is to describe the main platforms and services that implement FAIR principles and to analyze their potential for the educational sciences. The use of FAIR data is becoming a prerequisite for conducting high-quality educational research. The analysis conducted demonstrates that none of the current platforms implements all stages of data handling within a single tool—from collection to long-term storage and reuse. The most effective approach is the combined use of specialized services. Particular attention must be paid to maintaining confidentiality in educational research: platforms with flexible access control, combined with local preprocessing, make it possible to align FAIR principles with the requirements of personal data legislation. A prerequisite for ensuring compatibility and integration into the global scientific community is the use of metadata standards (in particular via FAIRsharing.org). At the same time, the implementation of FAIR principles in the field of educational sciences involves not only a technical component but also the existence of a conscious research data management strategy, as well as improving researchers’ digital literacy.
