Abstract

The article substantiates the theoretical and methodological foundations for the formation of energy efficiency competence of future builders in vocational education institutions through the use of information and communication technologies (ICT). The potential of digital platforms, BIM technologies, and virtual modeling in the professional training of students is revealed. A structural and stage-based methodology for developing energy efficiency competence is proposed. It is proved that the systematic implementation of ICT enhances the quality of professional training and increases future specialists’ readiness to implement energy-saving solutions in the construction industry.
