Abstract

The abstracts present the results of usability testing of FAIRVault, an inter-university service for secure storage, archiving, and controlled access to educational and scientific data, developed in accordance with the FAIR principles. The key functions of the platform are analysed, including metadata management, data sensitivity levels, access mechanisms, and integration with external systems. As part of the testing, typical user scenarios were performed: registration, search, and download of open data, request access to limited sets, and creation of a new dataset. The results demonstrate that FAIRVault is a promising tool for educational institutions, as it provides secure, long-term storage of sensitive data, supports open science requirements, and promotes the reuse of educational data in research and inter-institutional projects.
