Abstract
Introduction. An important factor in the Ukrainian organizations' effectiveness and employees' well-being is the acquisition, maintenance, development, and protection of the psychological resources of the organization. This involves, in particular, the study and application of the basic theories and models of analysis of the psychological resources of the organization used by foreign scientists. Analysis of these aspects can contribute to a better understanding of the essence and structure of the psychological resources of the organization, which may improve the response of Ukrainian organizations to contemporary social and economic challenges. Aim: to analyze the basic theories and research models of the psychological resources of the organization in foreign psychology. Methods: analysis, systematization, and generalization of foreign and domestic literature on the problem of psychological resources of the organization. Results. The main theories and research models of the psychological resources of the organization in foreign psychology were shown to be the following: resource conservation, work requirements-resources balance, cognitive resources, social resources, resource approach to strategic management, and positive psychological capital. The significance of theories and models for overcoming resource shortages and promoting organizations' effectiveness and employees' well-being of personnel was revealed. Conclusions. The data obtained may be helpful for Ukrainian organizational psychologists to develop theoretical and methodological approaches to and research designs of the problem of psychological resources of the organization.
