Abstract

Memory that nourishes the future. On December 16, 2025, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, and renowned scholar in the field of didactics Valentyna Fedorivna Palamarchuk passed away. She left behind over 300 scientific works that became the foundation of modern Ukrainian education. For Valentyna Fedorivna as a teacher and scholar, school was the center and meaning of life. Her life credo “there is no such thing as pure science, it is always based on pedagogical experience” remains a reminder for researchers of the importance of a living connection between theoretical research and the practical activities of a teacher in the unity of learning and development processes. At the stage of educational transformations caused by the development of specialized secondary education, the actualization of her work ensures the development of the student’s intellectual subjectivity in the face of global challenges.
