Abstract
It is emphasized that the conceptual apparatus of open education is developing under the influence of the processes of digitalization of society and the formation of open science. It is noted that the adaptability of terminology implies its flexibility, interdisciplinary nature and compliance with international standards. It is noted that for the formation of a holistic educational space it is important to coordinate key concepts with each other. The essence of the basic concepts of open education terminology is revealed.
