Abstract
The article provides an analytical review of the key reports and discussions presented at the roundtable organised by the Institute of Higher Education of the NAES of Ukraine in partnership with the "Maria Kultayeva Ukraini an Society for the Philosophy of Education" on 5 March 2026. The paper highlights the life and intellectual achieve ments of the distinguished Ukrainian philosopher Vladlen Lutay, commemorating the centenary of his birth, and exam ines his role in establishing the philosophy of education as a distinct field of research in Ukraine. It outlines the core approaches to the conceptualisation of this field formulated by Lutay, demonstrating that his intellectual legacy re mains highly relevant today and offers significant potential for developing the axiological foundations of modern edu cation. Furthermore, the article explores the importance of education in overcoming existential crises and value rup tures, specifically conceptualising the new subjectivity of the ‘pontiff’ as a builder within conditions of instability. An ethical analysis is conducted on the prospects of profound and rapid transformations in education and society in the era of digitalisation and artificial intelligence, arguing that ethics functions not as an external constraint, but as an in ternal mechanism for the coordination and development of social systems. Finally, the study offers a transdisciplinary conceptualisation of non-linear research in science and education, with a particular focus on the application of trans disciplinary models to the study of human psychodimension and behaviour from a non-linear perspective.
