Abstract
The article presents an analysis of the All-Ukrainian Round Table ‘Information Support of Psychological Science in the Context of Developing an Open Educational Space’, based on the approbation results of an applied study conducted by the Department of Scientific Information and Analytical Support of Education at the V. Sukhomlynskyi State Scientific and Educational Library of Ukraine. The Department (led by Maryna L. Rostoka, PhD in Education, Senior Researcher) is carrying out a study titled ‘Information and Analytical Support for the Training of Military Psychologists in an Open Educational Space’, which is particularly relevant during Ukraine's wartime and post-war periods. The All-Ukrainian Round Table served as a strategic platform for shaping a new architecture of knowledge under war conditions. The event demonstrates a transition from a closed academic system to an open-access ecosystem: the use of repositories, scientometric databases, and digital libraries (specifically the V. Sukhomlynskyi State Scientific and Educational Library of Ukraine) is defined as the foundation for modern education. The open educational space is viewed as a tool for building personalized learning paths, where digital instruments help overcome physical barriers. The round table marks a paradigm shift in psychological research toward a practical orientation and military psychology, with an emphasis on models of individual resilience under prolonged stress. Today, psychology is becoming a ‘science of survival’ and a means of maintaining combat readiness. By bringing together historians, psychologists, educators, and military specialists, the round table facilitates the creation of synthetic knowledge to address complex social issues, reflecting the ambition of Ukrainian science to be a full member of the global research community.
