Abstract
The article is devoted to highlighting the process of implementing the results of applied scientific research «Development of digital competence of scientific and scientific-pedagogical employees by open educational and scientific information systems» (2024–2025) in the practical activities of scientific institutions and universities. The research was carried out by specialists from the Department of Open Educational and Scientific Information Systems of the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine by the employees of the Department of Open Educational and Scientific Information Systems. The article presents the key objectives of scientific research, summarizes the results obtained, and demonstrates the mechanisms for implementing the research through publication, dissemination, and use, and promotion in the Electronic Library of the NAES of Ukraine, as well as in the international Google Scholar database. Introduction. The digital transformation of science and education necessitates the formation and development of digital competence among scientific and scientific and pedagogical employees and the aspiration of Ukraine to adapt to European educational standards. The relevance of the research problem is determined by the demand for the development and implementation of innovative information and digital technologies and analytical tools in the modern educational and scientific space. Purpose. To highlight the process of implementing the results of applied scientific research “Development of digital competence of scientific and scientific and pedagogical employees through open educational and scientific information systems” (GOVERNMENT REGISTRATION No. 0124U000675, 2024–2025) in the activities of scientific institutions and universities. Methods. A set of theoretical methods was used: analysis of scientific literature, comparative analysis of open systems. Among empirical methods, the leading one was a pedagogical experiment (constatative and formative stages), supplemented by questionnaires, testing, and targeted development of digital competence among researchers and university lecturers using open systems. The reliability of the results obtained was ensured by the use of mathematical statistics methods to compare the empirical data of the experimental and control groups. Results. The content of basic terms and concepts in the field of education and pedagogy related to the subject of research has been clarified; the components of digital competence and the criteria and indicators of its development have been defined; a model has been developed, and a methodology for developing the digital competence of scientific and scientific and pedagogical employees has been created and tested; a distance learning course has been created and a pedagogical experiment has been conducted, which confirmed the effectiveness of the developed methodology; recommendations have been developed for the development of the digital competence of scientific and scientific and pedagogical employees using open educational and scientific information systems. Originality. For the first time, criteria and indicators for the development of digital competence among scientific and scientific and pedagogical employees were developed; a model and methodology for developing their digital competence were substantiated and created. As a result, a systematic positive impact on the development of all components of digital competence of scientific and scientific and pedagogical employees was ensured, which contributed to raising its level. Conclusion. The study clarified the content of key terms and concepts in the educational and pedagogical field related to the subject of research; defined the components of digital competence as well as the criteria and indicators of its development, thereby creating a methodological foundation for further scientific and practical work. A model and methodology for the development of digital competence of researchers and academic staff were developed, the effectiveness of which was confirmed by a pedagogical experiment. A distance learning course and recommendations were created to provide practical support for the systemic development of digital competence and to enhance the professional activities of staff in the digital environment.
