Abstract
The development of agency among students of economic specialties in the process of foreign language training is a complex, multidimensional, and purposeful process that integrates personal, activity-based, and professional development of learners, which necessitates the identification of appropriate didactic conditions. The didactic conditions whose implementation in the educational process of a higher education institution contributes to the effective development of agency among students of economic specialties in foreign language training include the creation of a subject-oriented, activity-based learning environment; the integration of reflective and self-assessment practices; the application of interactive and communicative-oriented technologies; the personalization of learning through digital technologies; the development of autonomy; and the integration of a professional context.
