Abstract
For high school students, the formation of life values and orientations, particularly those related to future family life, becomes especially relevant, as this stage involves shaping perceptions of family values, social roles, and personal responsibility. The article presents the goals and main directions of the technology of social pedagogical support for forming family-oriented expectations among modern student youth during the periods of war and post-war recovery in Ukraine. Family oriented expectations of student youth are a process of mental behavior regulation ensured by the cognitive, emotional-value, and behavioral readiness of a young individual for future family life. The goal of the technology: to form adequate family-oriented expectations among student youth, based on the principles of healthy relationships, mutual respect, responsibility, and emotional resilience. The suggested directions of work for general secondary education institutions to implement this technology include: forming value orientations related to family life as a comprehensive process involving the influence of the family, society, school, and the adolescent’s internal psychological development; providing psychological support to high school students in the process of understanding the role of the family (psychological support during this age period plays a key role in helping adolescents form healthy ideas about family relationships, responsibility, and personal self-fulfillment within the family); developing effective communication and conflict resolution skills in the family environment as a foundation for healthy family relationships; promoting awareness of personal responsibility for the future family. The main methods of working with high school students within the framework of this technology are considered, namely: analysis of life situations (discussion of real and simulated situations where adolescents can examine the consequences of both responsible and irresponsible behavior in family relationships); changing relationship dynamics; forming an image of the future (imagining their future family: how they see themselves as a partner, father/mother, and what values they would like to instill in their relationships); fostering responsibility through practice (engaging adolescents in performing family duties, helping them feel their significance and understand how family well-being is formed); developing emotional maturity (working with emotions, teaching self-regulation and empathy skills); positive examples (based on books, movies, etc.).
