According to this approach, it is important for the modern labour market to get not only a competitive specialist with a high level of professional competence, but also a specialist who shows personal interest in professional activity. It is proved that the formation of a personality as a career-oriented specialist is one of the key tasks of the modern education system. The results of modern scientific research show that young people devote a significant amount of time to the development of their professional career, working on improving their professional and personal traits. It is noted that the definition of the concept of professional career has an interdisciplinary character. As a phenomenon of social life, a professional career is considered an important component of life in modern society, covering various aspects. It is substantiated that a professional career is a multi-level and structurally branched phenomenon which is formed from a sequence of stages: education and training, where a person acquires the necessary knowledge and skills through formal education or specialised courses; entry-level, the first steps in the profession, where a person gains first work experience, often in lower positions; professional development - growth and improvement of professional skills, advanced training, acquisition of new knowledge and skills; achievement of a high professional level, receiving awards, recognition. It is stated that the important aspects of a successful career include: continuous learning, tracking new trends and technologies in the professional field; ability to communicate and cooperate effectively with colleagues and clients; being active and creative in finding new solutions and ideas; adherence to high standards of professional behaviour and responsibility; ensuring a harmonious balance between professional and personal life to maintain motivation and efficiency.
