Abstract

The тезes reveal the essence and didactic potential of the constructivist approach in teaching chemistry within the framework of the New Ukrainian School reform. The possibilities of implementing constructivist ideas in chemistry textbooks for grades 7–9 are analyzed. It is shown that the use of problem-based,inquiry-based, and context-oriented tasks contributes to the development of subject-specific and key competencies.
