Abstract

The current stage of development of the vocational education system of Ukraine is characterized by active transformational processes aimed at modernizing the content of education, improving the quality of educational services, strengthening the autonomy of educational institutions, expanding partnerships with employers and integration into the European educational space. In these conditions, the professional competence of heads of vocational education institutions, their ability to effectively manage the development of the institution, implement innovations, ensure the quality of the educational process and form a safe, inclusive and modern educational environment is of particular importance. The educational and professional training program "Strategic management of the development of a vocational education institution in the context of modern educational transformations" is aimed at developing the professional competencies of heads of vocational education institutions in accordance with modern requirements of education management, state educational policy and the needs of the development of the vocational education system. The content of the educational and professional program covers the current areas of management activity of the head of a vocational education institution, in particular: organization of occupational health and safety, innovative management and educational leadership, strategic personnel management, management support of inclusive education, use of digital technologies in management activities, psychological aspects of the professional activities of the manager, as well as the development of grant activities and fundraising to ensure the competitiveness of the institution. The purpose of the educational and professional program is to develop managerial, leadership, innovative, digital and socio-communicative competencies of heads of vocational education institutions, necessary for effective strategic management of the institution's activities, ensuring the quality of the educational process, forming a safe and inclusive educational environment, implementing digital technologies in management activities, developing human resources and attracting additional resources through grant activities and fundraising. The implementation of the educational and professional program will contribute to improving the managerial competence of heads of vocational education institutions; introducing modern management practices; developing innovative activities of vocational education institutions; increasing the competitiveness of vocational education institutions; ensuring the quality of the educational process.
