Abstract

The monograph presents a systematic theoretical and methodological analysis of the problem of tolerance to uncertainty as a psychological resource of the subjective well-being of youth in conditions of growing social turbulence. Scientific approaches to understanding tolerance to uncertainty and its role in the regulation of individual functioning are formulated, the content and structural characteristics of subjective well-being as an integral socio-psychological formation are outlined. The features of manifestations of tolerance/intolerance to uncertainty and their connections with the components of subjective well-being of youth are identified. The parameters of tolerance to uncertainty are determined, which have a resource potential for maintaining a higher level of subjective well-being in conditions of instability and uncertainty. Recommendations are offered for organizing psychological work with youth aimed at awareness and activation of the resourcefulness of tolerance to uncertainty in maintaining their subjective well-being. The monograph is addressed to researchers in the field of psychology, specialists in practical psychology, teachers of higher education institutions, graduate students and students, as well as specialists who are interested in the issues of well-being and psychological resources for maintaining it in conditions of uncertainty.
