Abstract
The article examines the theoretical and methodological principles of forming the content of specialized secondary education in the context of the transformation of the general secondary education system of Ukraine. Attention is focused on the importance of ensuring the continuity of the educational process in high school and creating conditions for the implementation of individual educational trajectories of students. The provisions of the State Standard of Specialized Secondary Education (DSPSO) as a normative basis for the content of academic and professional directions of specialized education are analyzed. Particular attention is focused on the need to achieve a content balance between the invariant (mandatory) part, which provides basic training for all students, and the variable part, which provides the opportunity for in-depth mastery of the content of education in accordance with the chosen profile. The main pedagogical principles that should be used as the basis for designing the invariant core are determined: scientificity, invariance, flexibility, integrativity, humanization, competency-based orientation and ensuring equal access to quality education. The analysis of the academic and professional directions of profile education, in particular the goals, structure, subject content, emphasis on preparation for further education or professional activity, is carried out. The article presents a detailed algorithm for the formation of educational profiles: from studying the interests of students and analyzing the labor market to developing the structure, determining the content, educational outcomes, curricula and plans, organizational conditions for implementation and evaluating effectiveness. It is emphasized that the construction of a content model of educational profiles is a complex multi-level process that requires the integration of the efforts of state educational policy, scientific support, institutional autonomy and active participation of all subjects of the educational process. The prospects for further research are the development of tools for assessing the quality of profile education, as well as the study of mechanisms for adapting profile education to the needs of the labor market and modern socio-economic challenges; clarifying the role of educational technologies in ensuring high-quality profile education.
