Abstract
The «personality» formation is complex process of human socio-cultural development. The natural characteristics of a person, superimposed on matrix of differentiated socio-cultural conditions of human existence, determine the humanity diversity. The process of a person's adaptation to the social conditions of given community and its cultural values is called socialization. By adapting to life in society, a person simultaneously forms him / herself as the «personality» with his / her own inner world and unique features. This process is called personalization. However, these two phenomena are interconnected. If in the socialization process attention is focused on the assimilation by a person of generally accepted knowledge, norms and traditions of certain community, then in the process of personalization it is concentrated on the «individualization» of the «personality». Therefore, the nature of the concept of «human» in a cultural context is constituted in the dimensions of «culture – individuality», «culture – personality», «cultural subject». At the stage of modern post-non-classical progress of the humanities development, it acquires new ways of understanding. However, for all thinkers, culture and «personality» appear as independent wholes that exist in parallel and determine each other. From the point of view of philosophical knowledge, «personality» is considered as the integrity of «individual» existence. It has the consciousness and self-awareness of person as a «subject» of activity and communication, responsible for his / her actions and «deeds». It characterizes the socio-psychological essence. The concept of «person» is considered as an independent entity. Within the framework of dialogical relations, culture forms the second plane of the «personality» existence as a single whole with culture. Culture is realized in dialogue with the «personality» and the «personality» realizes itself in the life of culture. The main conception of culture is the following: the simultaneity of civilizations of different times (in culture), communication with people of other cultures, and the eternal present.
