Abstract

The theses analyze the possibilities of developing students’ geospatial thinking through a competency-based history textbook for Grade 7 of the New Ukrainian School. Didactic approaches and learning tasks aimed at developing skills of working with historical maps, spatial representations, and geographic information are characterized.
